Earlier in his career...
Dr. Amante earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of the Philippines in 1993. He served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry for 4 years before moving to the United States for post graduate training. In 2000, Dr. Amante received a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Rochester and practiced as a general dentist in Seattle, WA for 8 years. During this time, Dr. Amante volunteered locally, providing dental care for homeless youth shelters in Seattle. It was through these experiences as a volunteer that he discovered his passion for treating children and that inspired him to further his education and training in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Amante and his wife, Rhoda, have 3 children Isabel, Noah, and Joseph. They love exploring different parks, hanging out by the pool, and trying out new restaurants. Dr. Amante and his wife love to travel and hope to start planning trips abroad in the near future. As for now, they enjoy exploring Northern Virginia and the surrounding areas with their kids.
