Why a Pediatric Dentist?

Pediatric dentistry is the specialty of dentistry that focuses on the oral health of young people. After completing dental school, pediatric dentists undergo 2-3 years of additional training to prepare them to provide primary and specialty dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and children with special health care needs. Pediatric dentists have the training and experience in behavior management, sedation, public health, academic research, and treatment of children in an outpatient or hospital setting.

As a Board-certified Pediatric Dentist and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Amante has successfully completed voluntary examinations, demonstrated specialized knowledge and skills, and has had his credentials verified. Above all, he is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and children with special health needs through a lifelong of learning.
