Welcome to Culpeper Kids Dentistry!

I'm Dr. Alvin Amante and it's truly an honor and privilege to be serving the communities of Culpeper and the surrounding areas.  As a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, I specialize in the dental care of infants, children and adolescents.  I look forward to building respectful relationships with parents, guardians and the community, because I know it takes a village to keep ours kids smiling healthy.

Our goal is to establish a 'pediatric dental home' that is state of the art, accessible, comprehensive and family friendly.  I am passionate about doing the best that we can to contribute to the overall health and well-being of our kids. We believe that healthy kids and healthy smiles go hand in hand.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PATIENTS

Starting on Monday, March 16, and continuing until further notice, we must implement new restrictions on patient care.  This is based on the latest advice we have received from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about the coronavirus outbreak.  Please read all this information carefully.

If you have an appointment for routine dental treatment such as a checkup, cleaning or filling, the appointment is cancelled and we will work with you to reschedule it.  We are now restricting treatment to urgent or emergency care only.

To be seen at the clinic, you must have one or more of the following conditions:

Severe toothache pain (not just a twinge)

Swelling of the gums, face, or neck

Bleeding in your mouth that does not stop

Infection or a substantial risk of it

Trauma such as a broken tooth

If you do require urgent care, please call the office firstPlease do not come in without calling the office first at (540)727-8200.

Please note carefully: Patients who need to be seen may be accompanied into the treatment area by one parent or guardian ONLY if their presence is essential for completion of dental treatment.  The accompanying parent or guardian must also first pass all our screening for COVID-19, including the absence of fever (over 100 degrees fahrenheit).

We regret that we must restrict our patient care this way.  We are serving our patients in the safest manner possible by following the advice of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under these difficult circumstances.  In doing this, we are doing our part to safeguard the health and safety of our patients, our care providers, and the whole community. We hope you understand, and we thank you for your cooperation.

SIncerely,

Dr. Alvin Amante and the Culpeper Kids Dentistry team
