Dr. Christopher Andrews Jr. is a Pediatric Dentist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He joined Culpeper Kids Dentistry as the practice’s new Pediatric Dental Associate. Having grown up in Southern Virginia, he is excited to continue to plant roots in his home state that he loves. Dr. Andrews combines superb technical expertise with a compassionate approach to care, ensuring every child feels valued and supported during their dental visits. His goal is to create a positive, kid-friendly, and welcoming environment that promotes great lifelong oral health habits. Dr. Andrews completed his Pediatric Dental Residency at one of the top ranked children’s hospitals in New York – Cohens Children’s Medical Center in Queens, New York. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. Dr. Andrews earned his Bachelor of Science in Community Health with a concentration in Clinical Science from George Mason University.

Dr. Andrews’ journey into pediatric dentistry was shaped by his extensive hands-on experience. During his dental training, he worked as a pediatric dental assistant and participated in community outreach programs such as Give Kids a Smile, Special Olympics, Remote Area Medical, Mission of Mercy, and various other free clinics and dental mission trips in Texas, Virginia, Tennessee, and Nicaragua. Dr. Andrews is passionate about expanding access to high quality dental care for children and families.

Dr. Andrews is a recipient of various awards and honors, including the Northwell Health Pediatric Dentistry Resident of the Year, Howard University Community Dentistry Award, Percy A. Fitzgerald Memorial Award, and Dr. E. Preston Lee Award. Dr. Andrews looks forward to providing excellent service and care to children and families in the region. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Andrews enjoys traveling the world, exploring new cuisines, visiting museums and aquariums, fishing, and spending quality time with his friends and loved ones.
